The Family Co x IWD

MARCH 2025
For the second time, we are proud to support The Family Co as our chosen charity for March 2025. This incredible organisation is dedicated to doing their part in ensuring that all children and families have a safe home, strong connections and opportunities to thrive.
This year, our very own Warehouse Manager, Raegan, had the honour of speaking on a panel at an International Women’s Day (IWD) event hosted by The Family Co. This was an inspiring moment, highlighting the importance of gender equality and the role we all play in making progress. The event aligned with the global theme for IWD 2025:
At the current rate of progress, it will take until 2158, which is roughly five generations from now, to reach full gender parity, according to data from the World Economic Forum.
Focusing on the need to Accelerate Action emphasises the importance of taking swift and decisive steps to achieve gender equality. It calls for increased momentum and urgency in addressing the systemic barriers and biases that women face, both in personal and professional spheres.
We are passionate about forging women’s economic empowerment, supporting women and girls in leadership, and advocating for equitable opportunities across industries. From recruiting and developing diverse talent to championing creative and artistic expression, we believe in building a world where women and girls have the resources, representation, and support they need to thrive.
