Why has SNDYS paused shipping to the U.S.?
Effective 5 April 2025, the U.S. government imposed a 10% baseline tariff on most goods imported from Australia, including apparel. This significant policy shift has disrupted our cost structures and logistics, making it temporarily unfeasible to continue shipping directly from Australia to our U.S. customers. Effective from 01 May 2025 there are also new tariffs and duties which could exceed 125% that are being imposed, which unfortunately creates an additional barrier to reaching our US customers.
Can I Still Shop From Canada & Mexico?

How long will this suspension last?
We are actively exploring alternative solutions, including potential partnerships with U.S.-based fulfilment centres and third-party logistics providers. While we cannot provide a definitive timeline, we are committed to resuming U.S. shipping as soon as it is viable. We are also hoping that there can be new negotiations met to make tariffs more realistic for our US customer.
Can I still place an order for delivery to the U.S.?
Currently, we have disabled checkout for U.S. shipping addresses on our website. We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding during this period.
What are tariffs, and how do they affect me as a customer?
Tariffs are government-imposed taxes on imported goods. Recent tariff amendments have dramatically increased the cost of bringing our products into the United States. This would have either forced us to raise prices significantly or absorb costs that would not be viable for the business long-term.
When will the U.S. website reopen?
We hope to return as soon as possible. However, reopening will depend on future changes to tariffs and trade policies. We will provide updates through our website, email newsletters, and social media channels.
What happens to orders placed before the suspension?
Orders placed before 28 April 2025 will be processed and shipped as usual. Please note that U.S. customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties and taxes.
I live outside of the U.S. - does this affect me?
If you live outside of the United States, this change does not impact your ability to shop with us. Our other websites sndys.com.au remains fully operational.
Will I be notified when U.S. shipping resumes?

Are there alternative ways to purchase SNDYS products in the U.S.?
We are currently exploring options to make our products available through U.S.-based retailers and online platforms. We will provide updates as these options become available. You can currently still find our products available to purchase on Revolve.
